Gabrielle was inspired to work with Friends of the Children by our mission of one child, one Friend, 12+ years, no matter what. She shares, "I find joy and purpose in being the consistent, supportive presence for the youth I serve, someone I often wished I had during my own childhood."
She lives out the values of Friends of the Children outside of work by staying deeply connected to her passions by serving in her local church and mentoring girls through basketball. Whether she's at work, volunteering at church, or coaching on the court, she naturally finds herself building relationships with youth. She strives to be a consistent presence in their lives—someone who listens to their wise words and funny stories, joins them in moments of play and joy, and walks alongside them through everyday life.
You can often find Gabrielle at Collective Coffee, which she describes as "a one-of-a-kind place that lives up to its motto: 'from the community and for the community'.
