Our Work in Foster Care

For nearly thirty years, Friends of the Children has been empowering youth and families who have been impacted by foster care and the child welfare system (here are a couple of links to help define what we mean by foster care and the child welfare system). We work with community partners and the system itself to identify families who are at different places in terms of their experience to ensure that our model is serving the children and families who need us most.
