Jackie shares that when she first learned about Friends of the Children and our one-on-one professional mentoring model, she "immediately fell in love with it" and knew it was a mission she wanted to be a part of. She knows from her own childhood experiences that many youth and families don't have access to the guidance and resources they need, and she finds great meaning in her work to support them.
She describes community as important because of the sense of belonging that it gives, and is proud to be able to be part of that community for the youth and families at Friends of the Children - Phoenix.
