This summer, we partnered with Gabriel's Angles to bring therapy dogs and their handlers into our clubhouse for four special sessions focused on literacy and social-emotional skill building. Youth build their confidence by reading books of their choosing to their new furry friends. The dogs then 'pawtographed' the books as keepsakes for the youth! Spending time with the volunteers and dogs of Gabriel's Angels gave youth new opportunities to learn and grow, and the whole experience was a real highlight of our summer.
